AIR DESIGN Donut

Stable, lightweight, durable and easy to fold. The Donut is a hybrid shaped rescue that combines the advantages of round and square rescues. Folding is as easy as on a round, opening, drop rates and pendulum stability are optimal.

“We developed a new shape that takes advantage of the benefits of square parachutes (pendulum stability, better opening times, and better sink rates) but without compromising on packability.

With the Donut shape, we benefit from all of the points mentioned above, but also from a better ratio of flat to projected surface area, which helps a lot in reducing weight and volume, without compromising on the fall rate.”
